About the Role
BUILT is seeking a results-driven Digital Marketing Specialist – Paid Social to help scale and optimize our paid social efforts across key platforms. This role will be responsible for optimizing campaigns that drive awareness and engagement while supporting full-funnel growth objectives.
You’ll work cross-functionally with brand, creative, social, and performance teams—and external agency partners—to bring data-informed, platform-native campaigns to life. The ideal candidate is analytical, creative, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, test-and-learn environment.
Key Responsibilities
Paid Social Strategy & Reporting
· Align with marketing and social teams on KPIs across Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, and YouTube to drive measurable business outcomes.
· Internally share campaign reporting; identify trends, insights, and actionable opportunities.
· Support a structured test-and-learn agenda, sharing key learnings that inform creative, messaging, audience strategy, and asset formats.
Ad Creation & Creative Collaboration
· Partner with the social and creative teams to concept, develop, and test platform-native paid social ads (contextual, sequential storytelling, product-focused).
· Leverage data and best practices to inform creative direction and messaging strategy.
· Ensure creative assets are optimized for each platform’s format, behavior, and audience expectations.
Campaign Management & Optimization
· Partner with agency partners to oversee paid social campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, and YouTube.
· Collaborate with brand and performance teams to align campaigns with business objectives (awareness, reach, engagement, video views).
· Monitor campaign health and make proactive recommendations on creative to maximize results.
· Proactively identify and activate culturally relevant moments, trends, and platform-native opportunities to drive incremental reach and engagement, while uncovering upside growth opportunities beyond planned media.
Agency & Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Support paid social campaign execution, including trafficking media assets and quality assurance.
· Participate in weekly agency calls and contribute to strategic discussions.
· Develop a strong understanding of full-funnel paid advertising strategy to support broader marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field (CPG experience a plus).
· 2+ years of experience in paid social, digital marketing, or performance marketing.
· Media agency experience preferred.
· Proven experience managing paid social campaigns on key platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, and YouTube.
· Strong understanding of audience targeting, segmentation, and optimization strategies.
· Experience with creative testing frameworks and ad copywriting.
· Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to translate data into insights and action.
· Knowledge of paid social advertising tools and best practices.
· Highly organized with strong project management skills; able to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously.
· Disciplined executor and problem-solver with a consumer-first mindset.
