Position Overview

The Packaging Lead plays an essential role on the production line. This position focuses on safely and efficiently handling, packaging, and monitoring product quality to ensure our customers receive the highest standard of product. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to maintain a steady workflow in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Remove finished product from the production line, place into boxes, and stack as required to maintain production flow.

Rework or unpack products that have wrapping, weight, or batch number inconsistencies.

Remove fallen or damaged bars to uphold quality and sanitation standards.

Support dough quality checks at the start of the line when needed.

Assist with applying non-stick agent to dough exiting equipment or help add ingredients during mixing processes.

Clean equipment, tools, and workstations following BUILT’s sanitation and cleanliness guidelines.

Respond appropriately to equipment alarms or malfunctions, including performing Lockout/Tagout procedures when necessary.

Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and all safety policies at all times.

Perform other line duties as assigned to meet production needs.

Weekend work may be required as needed.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly.

Must be able to stand for entire 8-hour shift.

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent work pace.

Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
