Job Summary:

Develop standard operating procedures, as well as using SCADA systems, programming logic controllers, and troubleshooting automation equipment. Create electrical and machine drawings. Regularly identify opportunities for improvement and design corresponding experiments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

● Experienced in analysis of production equipment

● Process diagrams

● Maintain Standard operating procedures

● Program and maintain PLC software and hardware on production lines

● Design mechanical upgrades for automation equipment

● Create engineering CAD models and drawings

● Troubleshoot automation equipment

● Write protocols and procedures

● Maintain a relationship with contractors and vendors

● Fabrication or prototyping

● Assisting maintenance team

Preferred Skills:

● Automation experience in food production (or other regulated industry)

● Working knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment; controls, VFD's, PLC's, and basic hydraulics

● Bonus if Bilingual in English and Spanish

● Exprienced with Allen Bradley and/or Siemens PLCs
